Creating a campaign

A step-by-step walk through the five-step new-campaign wizard.

Click + New campaign from anywhere in your dashboard. You'll move through five steps. You can go back and forward at any time - nothing is saved until the final step.

Step 1: Objective

Pick a goal. Each goal card maps to one of the four campaign types:

Step 2: Basics

The essential setup:

The bid is your maximum. We never charge more than this per event, and in practice you may pay less if the auction is uncontested.

Choose who should see your campaign. See Targeting your audience for the full breakdown. The short version:

Step 4: Creative

The actual ad. Fields vary slightly by type:

For CPA / CPC / CPM campaigns

Step 5: Review & launch

Every field you entered is summarized here. Two options to finish:

You can always pause an active campaign from the campaigns list or the detail page - no need to wait for budget to hit zero.

After you save

You'll land on the campaign's detail page. From there you can:

Duplicating a campaign

Click Duplicate on a campaign's detail page to clone it. The copy lands as a draft with the same targeting, budgets, bid, flight dates, and active creatives - nothing serves until you launch it. Use Duplicate when you want to:

What's not copied: historical stats (the clone starts at zero), publisher approval grants on private campaigns (the new campaign starts public; you re-approve specific publishers if you need to), and any paused or archived creatives (only active ones come along, and they land in draft so you can review them before launch).
