Creating a campaign
A step-by-step walk through the five-step new-campaign wizard.
Click + New campaign from anywhere in your dashboard. You'll move through five steps. You can go back and forward at any time - nothing is saved until the final step.
Step 1: Objective
Pick a goal. Each goal card maps to one of the four campaign types:
- Get leads → Coreg (yes/no opt-in)
- Drive conversions → CPA
- Drive traffic → CPC
- Build awareness → CPM
Step 2: Basics
The essential setup:
- Campaign name - internal label only. Visitors never see it.
- Flight start - the first day your campaign is eligible to serve.
- Flight end - last day to serve. Leave blank for ongoing campaigns; you can always pause manually.
- Daily budget - soft cap per day. Set to 0 for no daily cap.
- Total budget - lifetime spend cap. Leave blank for no total cap.
- Bid - what you'll pay per qualifying event (per lead / per action / per click / per 1,000 impressions, depending on type).
Step 3: Targeting
Choose who should see your campaign. See Targeting your audience for the full breakdown. The short version:
- Countries and US states - geographic scope
- Age range, gender, devices, languages
Step 4: Creative
The actual ad. Fields vary slightly by type:
For Coreg campaigns
- Opt-in question (required) - the yes/no question shown to the user.
- Ad copy (required) - one or two sentences supporting the offer.
- Destination URL - where to send a "Yes" responder.
For CPA / CPC / CPM campaigns
- Headline (required) - the main eyebrow line of your ad.
- Ad copy (required) - the body of the ad.
- Destination URL - where to send a click.
- Image (optional) - upload a JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP (up to 2 MB), or paste a URL to an image hosted elsewhere. Strongly recommended for display/banner-style placements. CPM campaigns work best with an image.
Step 5: Review & launch
Every field you entered is summarized here. Two options to finish:
- Save as draft - the campaign sits in Draft status. Won't serve until you enable it.
- Launch campaign - sets status to Active immediately, subject to your flight dates and budget.
After you save
You'll land on the campaign's detail page. From there you can:
- Pause or Enable with one click
- Archive if you're done with it
- Edit name, dates, budgets, and targeting (campaign type is locked)
- Duplicate the campaign as a fresh draft - see below
- Add more creatives to A/B test variants - see A/B testing creatives
Duplicating a campaign
Click Duplicate on a campaign's detail page to clone it. The copy lands as a draft with the same targeting, budgets, bid, flight dates, and active creatives - nothing serves until you launch it. Use Duplicate when you want to:
- Run the same offer in a new flight window without changing the live campaign's history.
- A/B test a budget or bid change without disturbing the original.
- Adapt a working campaign for a different audience (e.g. flip the country targeting from US to Canada) - clone, edit, launch.
