This Acceptable Use Policy sets the baseline rules of conduct for everyone who touches the eFind Services. It applies no matter which product you use or what role you play, and it exists for a simple reason: to keep the Services safe, lawful, and trustworthy for the businesses, publishers, and people who rely on them every day.
eFind builds technology that people can trust. That trust depends on a shared understanding of what is and is not acceptable behavior on the platform. Advertisers trust that their brands will not appear next to abusive content. Publishers trust that the demand flowing to their properties is legitimate. Users trust that the Advertisements they see and the pages they visit will not defraud, endanger, or exploit them. This policy protects all of those expectations at once.
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to state plainly the conduct that is never permitted anywhere on the Services, to describe how eFind detects and responds to violations, and to tell you how to report abuse when you encounter it. It is a floor, not a ceiling. Meeting the requirements here does not automatically satisfy every other rule that applies to you. Product-specific policies, your Agreement, and Applicable Law may all impose additional obligations. Where those documents are stricter, they govern.
This policy is written broadly and durably so that it keeps pace with the Services as they grow. It applies to advertising today and is meant to apply just as clearly to future products such as Search, Shopping, Commerce, analytics, payments, and AI-powered offerings. New features do not create new loopholes. If conduct undermines the safety, legality, or trustworthiness of the Services, it is prohibited whether or not this document names the exact tool used to carry it out.
This policy applies to all use of the Services, in every format and on every Device, including websites, mobile applications, the API, and any interface eFind makes available. It covers your own conduct and the conduct of anyone acting through your Account, including your Authorized Users, agents, contractors, and any automated systems you operate. It applies to Content you submit, transmit, host, link to, or direct eFind to deliver, and to the Landing Pages and destinations behind your Advertisements.
The rules here apply regardless of where you sit in the ecosystem. A prohibition on harassment does not become acceptable because you are an Advertiser rather than a Publisher, and a prohibition on Malware does not stop applying because you reached the Services through the API rather than a browser. The same baseline conduct is expected of everyone, everywhere on the Services.
This policy does not replace the Advertising Policies, the Publisher Policies, the Invalid Traffic Policy, the Security Policy, the AI Content Policy, or any Agreement. It sits alongside them and reinforces them. When those documents describe conduct in more detail for a specific product or role, they add to this policy; they do not narrow it.
This policy applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Services in any capacity, including:
If you allow another person or system to use the Services through your Account, you are responsible for that use as if it were your own. Choosing to look away from what your Authorized Users or your integrations do is not a defense. You are expected to supervise the access you grant.
Capitalized terms used in this document, such as Advertiser, Publisher, User, Authorized User, API, Invalid Traffic, Malware, Personal Information, and Prohibited Content, have the meanings given in the Master Definitions. Where this document uses a term that is specific to acceptable use, it is explained where it first appears. In this policy, “prohibited conduct” means any activity described in the section titled Prohibited Conduct, and “abuse” means any violation of this policy or any other conduct that harms the Services or the people who rely on them.
The following categories describe conduct that is never acceptable on the Services. The examples under each category are illustrations, not a complete list. Conduct can violate this policy even if it is not named specifically, and a single act may violate more than one category at the same time. Read each category by its intent: eFind cares about the harm being caused, not the label attached to the method.
You may not use the Services to commit, promote, facilitate, or conceal any activity that violates Applicable Law, and you may not submit, host, or deliver Content that is itself unlawful. This is the broadest and most fundamental rule in this policy. What is illegal in the jurisdictions that apply to you and to the audience you reach is illegal on the Services.
You may not use the Services to threaten, incite, organize, or facilitate physical harm to any person, and you may not use them to endanger public safety. The Services are not a venue for planning violence or putting people at risk.
You may not use the Services to harass, bully, degrade, or dehumanize others, and you may not use them to attack people on the basis of who they are. Advertising and publishing on eFind must not become a weapon against individuals or protected groups.
eFind has zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation of any person and, above all, for any Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children. This is the most serious category in this policy, and it is enforced without exception.
eFind removes Content that sexually exploits or endangers children the moment it is identified, preserves relevant records as the law requires, permanently terminates the responsible Accounts, and reports the matter to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement. There is no warning step and no path to reinstatement for this category.
You may not use the Services to deceive people or to obtain money, data, or advantage through misrepresentation. Deception poisons the entire ecosystem: it defrauds Users, wastes Advertiser budgets, and devalues Publisher inventory. This category is enforced aggressively.
You may not attack, probe, or undermine the security of the Services, of eFind's systems, or of anyone else's systems using the Services. The security of the platform protects every participant, and attempts to weaken it are treated as some of the most serious violations of this policy. These rules complement the Security Policy.
Good-faith security research is welcome through the channels described in the Security Policy. Testing conducted outside those channels, without authorization, is a security violation under this policy regardless of the researcher's intentions.
You may not take any action that unreasonably degrades, disrupts, or overloads the Services, or that consumes shared resources in a way that harms other participants. The platform is shared infrastructure, and no single actor may treat it as their own to exhaust.
You may not use the Services to infringe the Intellectual Property Rights of eFind or anyone else. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit, deliver, or host.
You may not use the Services to violate the privacy of others or to misuse Personal Information. Respect for privacy is a core value at eFind, and the platform may not be used to erode it.
You may not use artificial intelligence or generative tools, whether provided by eFind or by a third party, in ways that deceive, harm, or endanger people. AI amplifies both good work and bad conduct, and the rules that apply to human behavior apply equally to what you produce with a machine.
The full rules for creating, disclosing, and delivering AI Content are set out in the AI Content Policy. Where that policy applies, it governs the details; this policy prohibits the underlying misuse regardless.
You may not attempt to defeat or evade the controls eFind uses to keep the Services safe. Trying to slip past a control is treated as seriously as the conduct the control was designed to stop, because it signals an intent to violate the rules deliberately.
You may not misrepresent who you are, who you act for, or the nature of what you offer. Honesty about identity is the foundation of accountability on the platform.
Developers who use the API must operate within its Documentation and within this policy. The API is a privilege that carries the same responsibilities as any other access to the Services, plus the specific duties that come with programmatic scale.
eFind enforces this policy through a combination of automated systems and human review. We use signal analysis, pattern detection, machine-learning classifiers, and manual investigation to identify prohibited conduct, and we act on the reports we receive from Advertisers, Publishers, Users, and outside parties. Because abuse evolves, our detection methods evolve with it, and no list of techniques we describe here limits the methods we may lawfully use.
When we identify a violation, we choose a response that fits the seriousness of the conduct, the harm caused or threatened, the history of the Account, and the risk of recurrence. The available responses include, without limitation:

| Suspension | Pausing some or all access to the Services while we investigate or until a problem is resolved. |
| Termination | Ending your access to the Services and closing your Account, in serious cases permanently. |
| Referral to authorities | Reporting conduct to law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities where appropriate or required, and preserving relevant records. |
We may take any of these steps in the order and combination we judge appropriate. For the most serious violations, including the sexual exploitation of children, credible threats of violence, fraud, and security attacks, we may act immediately and without prior warning, up to and including permanent termination and referral to authorities. For lower-risk issues, we generally aim to give you an opportunity to correct the problem before we take stronger action, though we are not obligated to do so.
Where your Agreement provides a way to appeal or to request review of an enforcement decision, you may use it. We will consider good-faith explanations and evidence that a decision was mistaken. Reinstatement is not guaranteed, and it is not available for categories where this policy states that no path to reinstatement exists. Taking or declining to take action in one case does not waive our right to act in any other case.
If you encounter an Advertisement, a Publisher Property, a message, or any conduct on the Services that you believe violates this policy, please tell us. Timely reports help us protect Users, Advertisers, and Publishers, and they make the platform better for everyone.
Intellectual-property complaints have dedicated processes: use the DMCA Policy for copyright and the Trademark Policy for trademark concerns. For anything that presents an immediate danger to a person's life or safety, contact your local emergency services first, and then let us know so we can assist. We treat reports seriously, we protect the identity of good-faith reporters to the extent we reasonably can, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports abuse in good faith.
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Trust Framework and works together with the other documents in it. Understanding how the pieces fit prevents confusion about which rule governs.
If there is a genuine conflict between this policy and a more specific document, the more specific document controls for the matter it governs, but only to the extent of the conflict. In all other respects, the baseline conduct rules here continue to apply. Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available to eFind under your Agreement or Applicable Law, and nothing here creates rights for any third party.
eFind may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to address new products, new forms of abuse, changes in the law, and improvements to how we keep the Services safe. When we make a material change, we will post the updated policy on this page and, where your Agreement requires, provide notice through the Services or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
